Why I Love the Scholarship Side of the Miss Texas and Miss America Organization

Even though I’m still preparing to compete for Miss Austin’s Teen, one of the things that inspires me most about the Miss Texas and Miss America Organization is its commitment to education. I love that this organization doesn’t just celebrate confidence and service—it also helps young women reach their goals through scholarships.

I plan to attend college and study communications, so knowing that dedication, leadership, and community service can also help fund my education motivates me every day. The scholarship program is especially meaningful to me because it helped fund my mom’s last two years of nursing school. Seeing how it supported her dreams makes it even more special to be part of this organization.

I can’t wait to keep learning, growing, and hopefully earning scholarships that will allow me to continue making a difference in my community.
